Formed by Mr Brian Drummond in 1960, Drummond Reid has grown in size and stature ever since.
During the early part of the firms existence French Polishers Northern Ireland Furniture Polishing and Piano Restoration Drummond Reid had teamed up with Craig Reid Pianos and primarily our work was restoring and French polishing grand and upright pianos. However, if you can restore a 1910 Steinway Grand you can easily restore furniture! Well not exactly easily, but the same principals apply. From humble premises in Cromac Square and the Lisburn Road we are now situated at Temple just two minutes from the Carryduff roundabout. You can view a location map on the Contact page.
Today, Brian`s son Conor runs the firm. He has brought the company up to date with well fitted out workshops and offices and now the WorldWideWeb! Brian is still working away and passing on his unrivalled wealth of knowledge to the rest of the team.
The team of craftsmen involved in Drummond Reid include wood turners, carvers, gilders, upholsterers and polishers of course. Together they bring in over 150 years combined experience.
