Over the past 10 years, we have been asked on a regular basis to attend to the cosmetic repair and re-polishing on board many of the leading Cruise companies in the world.
Having a big footfall through the cabins, most Cruise ships come into dry dock for a makeover or re-fit every 4 or 5 years. Cabins and the public areas are the main places where timber becomes damaged and worn therefore needing rectified!
On our previous trips we have attended ships in Barbados, Grand Bahamas, Miami, Cadiz, Hamburg, Singapore, Genoa, Palermo and Gdansk to name but a few..
Our client’s s include The Royal Caribbean Line, Saga, Azamara, MSC, Celebrity Cruises, P&O and The World Residence
We have worked mainly with specialist re-fit companies in the UK. Mivan, MJM Marine, Blu Marine, Trimline, Atlantic Fit Out etc..
Our team of highly efficient French Polishers know the key elements included in a 2 or 3 week dry dock re-fit are hard work and attention to detail.
14 and 16 hour working days would be normal under these conditions!
However the long working day, the quality of workmanship would never be compromised. We currently have a team of 5 full time French polishers willing and able to travel across the globe in order to meet the requirements of the client.
