Over the last 25 years, the industry of wood finishing has totally changed. Where once the only method of finishing items of furniture, timber, antiques, doors panels etc… was by brush or roller the more modern approach has been to introduce spraying finishing.
99.9% of all furniture made these days whether it’s from the Far East or from European factories all items are sprayed finished.
The big advantages of spray finishing would be costs and the better finish that can be achieved. Modern day water based paints, cellulose and 2 pack polyurethane paints dry extremely quickly therefore a quick turnaround is easily achievable.
Here in our workshops we have 2 fitted dry spray booths and a drying room. We have the facilities and the manpower to cope with large shop fitting jobs or even small jobs like kitchen doors, interior or exterior doors.
Currently we serve a lot of local small joinery firms who don’t have the option of an onsite spray facility. Over the years we have worked with the likes of The Body Shop, Marks and Spencer, Lunns of Belfast, Goldsmiths etc..Where a high level of workmanship is expected along with the need to keep the tills ringing!!
Hotel works for the like of The Hastings Group, Old Inn Crawfordsburn, Premier Inn, The Merchant, Ramada, The Hilton Group have all used us over the past number of years for repairs and spray finishing.
Our finishes can include single pack lacquers, 2 pack acid catalysts lacquers, 2 pack hard wearing polyurethane lacquers and water based interior or exterior finishes. All these finishes are available in clear or in any painted finish. We can match to any RAL colour, BS colour, Crown Paints, Farrow and Ball and any other colour to can get! Just bring us a colour sample or colour swatch and we will match it.
